Recently, the Hellenic team came together for a 48-hour company-wide hackathon focused on one thing: building better technology for our customers while exploring new ideas across our software ecosystem.
Three teams, six different disciplines, plenty of coffee, whiteboards, ideas and problem solving.
What made the event special was that it wasn’t just developers involved. People from Senior Leadership, Product, Development, Sales, Operations and Support all took part, bringing different experiences and perspectives into the mix. That meant ideas were shaped around real manufacturing workflows, compliance needs and customer challenges from the very beginning.
Over the two days, ideas developed steadily through collaboration, testing and problem solving. Discussions became prototypes, and prototypes evolved into working functionality as teams worked together to refine and improve each concept.
The atmosphere across the office was brilliant, collaborative, fast-paced and full of energy. Teams worked together to test ideas, solve problems and challenge each other to think differently.
Without giving too much away, the hackathon helped shape the workings of some innovative new functionality that’s currently being developed within our software ecosystem. The focus throughout was simple: create technology that makes life easier, smarter and more efficient for the people using it every day.
More than anything, the event showed the value of collaboration. Bringing together different teams and different expertise helped ideas move faster and solutions become stronger.
Stay tuned for more updates!
