Built directly into FORMIX, RITA makes it quicker and easier for food manufacturers to get useful answers from their production data.
Instead of searching through reports or manually working through large amounts of information, users can simply ask RITA a question in plain English. RITA then looks at the relevant FORMIX production data and presents the answer as a clear table, chart or summary.
Ask your production data a question
FORMIX already captures detailed information throughout the recipe execution and weighing process, including ingredient usage, batches, weights, tolerances, operators and QA activity. RITA now makes that information much easier to explore.
Users can ask questions such as:
- How much sunflower oil did we consume each day this month?
- Show me all batches from last week with out-of-tolerance weighings
- Which operator had the most QA failures?
- Which mixes used a particular ingredient lot?
RITA works out what information is needed and gives you the answer in an easy-to-understand format. There’s no need to write SQL queries or raise a reporting request with an engineer.
From production data to useful insight
Our aim with RITA is to help production teams get more value from the data FORMIX is already collecting.
For example, a manager could quickly look into an unusual increase in ingredient consumption. A QA team could identify batches where weighing tolerances were breached. Production teams could explore trends across operators, recipes or ingredients without having to build a new report each time.
Users can then ask follow-up questions to dig a little deeper into what they find.
So, if RITA highlights an unusual number of weighing breaches, a user could ask which operator recorded the most, explore the affected batches or look at the ingredients involved. This gives teams a much quicker route from spotting something in the data to understanding what may need further attention.
AI reporting, built into FORMIX
RITA sits within the FORMIX Reports tab, rather than operating as a separate piece of software. This means users can access AI-powered reporting from within the same FORMIX environment they already use to manage production information.
It builds on the wider capabilities of FORMIX, our recipe management software designed to give food manufacturers greater control over recipes, ingredient weighing and production.
FORMIX guides operators through ingredient weighing, applies recipe tolerances and quality checks, and creates traceability records linking ingredient weighings back to their source lots.
