Hellenic Systems is proud to announce the promotion of Sam Purssell, formerly Business Development Manager, to Head of Commercial.
Sam joined Hellenic in November 2024 and has already had a significant impact on our commercial function, bringing energy, structure and strategic thinking to our sales, marketing and account management approach. This promotion recognises his achievements so far and reflects our full confidence in his future leadership.
In his new role, Sam will direct and execute our sales strategy, focusing on both new business acquisition and growth within our existing customer base. He will also enhance team-wide performance, ensuring accountability and supporting the team in meeting and exceeding their targets. As part of building a high-performing commercial team, Sam will work closely with Toby Neighbour and welcome our soon-to-be-appointed Sales Development Representative. He will also lead our marketing initiatives, including working alongside our external agency partner, TLC Business, to ensure alignment with our commercial goals.
Sam will continue to support our customers in providing MES solutions, delivering traceability systems, and integrating advanced weighing and labelling technologies – all of which form part of Hellenic Systems’ end-to-end automation offering for the manufacturing sector. His leadership will play a key role in ensuring these critical solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Additionally, Sam will join the Senior Management Team (SMT), further solidifying his leadership role and helping to shape the future direction of Hellenic Systems.
